We’re thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for junior golfers at Nomanby Hall Golf Course! On Sunday, 3 May, we’ll be hosting the Faldo Futures Qualifier, a fantastic event for golfers aged 7 – 12 (as of 1 Jan). This is not only a chance to compete in a hole strokeplay competition, but also an opportunity to take the first step toward a regional qualifier and meet the legend himself, Sir Nick Faldo! 

The Details: 

• When: Sunday 3 May  
• Tee Times: From 10.30am (Times will be released approx 3 days before the event) 
• Location: Normanby Hall Golf Club 
• Age Groups: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 (boys & girls) 
• Entry fee: £12 (includes competition entry, practice balls, and a chip butty & soft drink after play) 
• Course Length: 1800-2200 yards (9-hole short course)

Whether you’re an experienced golfer or just starting out, the Faldo Futures Qualifier is all about bringing together young players to challenge themselves, develop their skills and enjoy the game in a fun and supportive environment. There’s no handicap required, just bring your enthusiasm, and love for golf! 

The best part? The Faldo Futures is a stepping stone to even bigger things. Those who do well in the qualifier will have the chance to progress to regional qualifiers and potentially even the Faldo Futures Final, where3 they’ll get to meet Sir Nick Faldo, one of golf’s greatest champions.  

We know that golf is not just about the competition, it’s about developing skills, making friends, and having fun. This event provides an exciting platform for juniors to test their abilities while being part of a welcoming golfing community. 

Our junior golf coach, Chris and the team at Normanby Hall Golf Course are all set to make this event on to remember. As always, we’re committed to supporting young golfers in their journey, whether they’re aiming for the top or simply looking to have fun on the course.

Hit the ramps and channels for some skate park fun! Whether they’re into skateboarding, scootering, or rollerblading, our parks at NL Active Epworth, Winterton and Ancholme are ready to shred! Best of all…. they’re 100% FREE!

Get a head start on swimming skills with our crash course swimming lessons! Designed for all levels, these one to one and group based lessons will help your child learn water safety, gain confidence in the water and improve their strokes while having fun.
